Natural White Easter
It is never too late to decorate! I know, Easter is upon us being only a few days away and with everything going on everyone is super busy with lots of work and trying to get a weekend of Easter celebrations organized, Luckily that leaves a lot of time at home that we can take advantage of and use to decorate! A White Easter is classy, fun and most of all easy!!!
White Easter with natural materials such as soft feathers, course twigs, berries and spring flowers will look great this year… and also gold glitter or foil.
I might have added to my Easter collection with more glitter and foil eggs this year. The eggs are easy to decorate, the bottom half of the egg or where you want to glitter/ foil to go on the egg is covered with glue and then gently roll the egg in a bowl of glitter or foil. I used gold foil and glitter I found at my local cheapie store i.e. The Reject Shop. For an egg with more dimension you can mix different sizes of glitter in a bowl then gently roll the egg in the bowl.
Vibrant Visual Roots
Carrots aren’t just for salads and snacking – place the veggies in a clear vase along with white flowers for an extra pop of color.
A Tulip and coordinating ribbon are all you need for a spring feeling napkin ring.
Magic of Mono
Revamp your old ornaments with some gold spray paint and achieve a much cleaner look.
Use twine, glad wrap and glue to make adorable nests. Using an egg, turn the egg upside down in the carton so the base is facing up, cover the base of the egg with glad wrap and use a dot of glue to attach the end of the twine to the egg, then start wrapping the twine around the egg in a circle, making sure there are no gaps up to the height your happy with, personally I go about 2-3cm up the side of the egg for a more relaxed shallow nest.
Happy Sunday! Time to start thinking of Easter decorations, and the color scheme is inspired by nature. White and grey with spring flowers… and a dash of gold glitter/foil.
